Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Pipeta ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
License
Free Features
Pipeta includes substantial free functionality for personal and commercial use:
- System eyedropper and color sampling
- 5 most recent colors in menu bar history
- Multiple format support (Hex, RGB, HSL, HSLA)
- WCAG contrast checker and accessibility tools
- 11-step tint/shade generator
- Color blindness preview (4 vision types)
- Basic search, favorites, and 1 palette/tag
- Monochromatic color harmony
Pro Features (In-App Purchase)
Pipeta Pro is available as a one-time in-app purchase through the Mac App Store, which grants you:
- Unlimited color history (50 colors total)
- Developer formats: Tailwind, CSS Variable, SwiftUI, UIKit, Android XML
- Unlimited palettes and tag groups
- All color harmonies: complementary, analogous, triadic, split-complementary
- Save color harmonies directly to palettes
- Palette notes for design handoff
- Export as CSS/SCSS/Tailwind/JSON/Swift/Android XML
- Custom contrast background testing
- Advanced search and filtering capabilities
- Multi-format palette views
App Store Benefits: Your Pro purchase is linked to your Apple ID, works across all your Mac devices, supports Family Sharing (up to 6 family members can access Pro features), and includes free updates. Managed entirely through the Mac App Store.
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove or modify any copyright notices or license information
- Share, sell, or redistribute your license key
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Refunds
Pipeta Pro purchases are processed through the Mac App Store and subject to Apple's refund policy. To request a refund:
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID and find your Pipeta Pro purchase
- Select "Request a refund" and follow the prompts
Apple typically approves refunds within 48 hours for purchases made within the last 90 days. If you need assistance with the refund process, contact us at rros00+pipeta@gmail.com
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.
Updates and Changes
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies.
